The Patton Center for Marine Science Education is a bright and dynamic facility that teaches about the wonders of the local marine ecosystems. The center has eight large aquariums and engaging interactive displays that provide opportunities for all ages.
Wetlands Education Center
HOURS Tours Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m.

This 3.6-acre trail system offers a hands-on experience of the wetlands and teaches visitors about local coastal habitats. Free guided tours occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. Self-guided tours are also open to the public without reservations.

Educational programs are available to visiting groups for educational programs. Our R/V KATY is a 57-foot research vessel available for 5th grade and above, with a capacity of 25 persons, not including crew, per trip. Our Curt Johnson landing craft has a capacity of 16.
